Dave Calabro on the progressive journey of purpose

Podcast, Purpose

Dave Calabro is the sports director at WTHR, the NBC affiliate in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is also a track announcer at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indianapolis 500. Dave has been sports casting since 1985 and been in his current role at WTHR since 1992.

Since he was a teenager, Dave has known his calling. Over the years, he has built his own platform that has given him some amazing opportunities. He has interviewed and spent time with some today’s greatest sports stars, including Michael Jordan, Helio Castroneves, and Joe DiMaggio. He has even spend time with George Harrison of The Beatles and two presidents. Yet, Dave has a very down-to-earth view on purpose, calling, and what it means to be happy.

In our interview with Dave Calabro, we cover all of these intriguing questions:

  • Is our purpose in life like a bullseye we try to hit or is it a progressive journey we walk toward?
  • What brings true happiness in this life?
  • What does it mean to sacrifice for your calling?

Now listen in on our conversation with Dave Calabro…
